We are delighted to have sponsored the Sussex Yacht Club Women’s Sailing Team for their Cowes Week 2022 debut on Poppy the Sonar. Poppy came third in the Mermaid Trophy for Best Female Crew.

The Sussex Yacht Club Women’s Sailing Team aim to raise the profile of female sailors and encourage more participation in the sport. They are the first women’s racing team at the Sussex Yacht Club (SYC) and are made up of women of mixed abilities and ages.

BEFS sponsorship of the team was designed to assist in accessing high-level training and equipment. We couldn’t be prouder about everything that Poppy and the team have achieved this year.
