In line with our sponsorship of the Sussex Yacht Club Women’s Sailing Team some of the BEFS team were invited to Cowes Week on the Isle of Wight to see the team in action.

Cowes Week is an annual sailing regatta held in the Solent. The team’s Sonar sailboat was one of up to 1000 boats taking part in the regatta. What an exciting opportunity to watch this event up close!

Members of the BEFS team got a unique vantage point of Cowes Week – watching lots of racing from both the yacht club and powerboats in the water, and even getting the chance to have a go on some of the equipment!
